Yunnan University (YNU) hosted the seventh Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival and the ninth Agricultural Culture Festival at its Chenggong campus from Sept 23 to 25.
Various research groups from the university shared their agricultural research achievements with attendees.
The Perennial Rice Sci-tech Backyard research team presented their newly developed rice for the year, serving it as fragrant dishes. The Coffee Sci-tech Backyard research team treated visitors to hand-brewed coffee, showcasing the unique flavors of different coffee beans. The Apple Sci-tech Backyard research team introduced six different self-cultivated apple varieties.
The Flower Sci-tech Backyard research team dazzled students and faculty with beautiful fresh-cut flowers featuring vibrant dahlias and roses that captivated onlookers. The Potato Sci-tech Backyard research team brought potato callus tissue and seedlings to the event. The Industrial Hemp research team displayed hemp fiber, fabric, rope, and hemp seed juice.
