Yunnan University hosts 2024 China-South Korea Think Tank Dialogue

On Sept 26, the Sub-forum on Innovation and Development of Philosophy and Social Sciences in the New Era, a part of the 2024 China-Republic of Korea Think Tank Dialogue, took place at Yunnan University.

Cadres of Yunnan University and Chinese and South Korean experts delivered speeches during the opening ceremony.

Experts and scholars discussed various topics, including the innovation and development of philosophy and social sciences in the new era, the impact of innovation in these fields on the economy and society, the intersection of philosophy, social sciences, and technological innovation, and the role of innovation in talent development.

This event focused on the characteristics and innovative development of philosophy and social sciences in the new era, showcasing new perspectives and expansions. Experts and scholars from both countries deepened interactions, strengthened cooperation mechanisms, and jointly worked to enhance the intellectual and cultural bond between the peoples of China and South Korea, laying a solid foundation for future friendly exchanges.

The China-Republic of Korea Think Tank Dialogue was established by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2005. Since 2014, it has gradually evolved into a key platform for exchange.
