Yunnan University Entrepreneurs Alumni Association holds annual meeting

The 2024 annual meeting of the Yunnan University Entrepreneurs Alumni Association was held in Kunming on Jan 10.

Yunnan University President Ma Wenhui, Party Committee Deputy Secretary Wu Jiande, and Guo Zhenyu, President and Chairman of the Entrepreneurs Alumni Association and Yunnan Botanee Group, attended the event.

Other participants included members of the Yunnan University Entrepreneurs Alumni Association, the Yunnan Provincial Association for International Science and Technology Cooperation, and leaders from the Yunnan University Alumni Association. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Ye, executive president of the Yunnan University Entrepreneurs Alumni Association and chairman of Maple Palace Group.

Ma expressed gratitude for the Yunnan University Entrepreneurs Alumni Association's continued support and care for the university. He highlighted the university's achievements in 2024 and outlined key initiatives for 2025. Ma also encouraged alumni to strengthen connections, foster university-industry collaboration, and contribute valuable insights for the university's development.

Guo shared his reflections on aligning corporate strategy with execution and offered suggestions for the alumni association's 2025 goals. He also extended heartfelt New Year greetings to all alumni members.

Yang Di, vice president of the Yunnan University Shanghai Alumni Association, delivered a lecture titled How Companies Can Address Performance Sustainability Issues. Meanwhile, Xia Jing, secretary-general of the Yunnan University Entrepreneurs Alumni Association, presented the association's 2024 work summary and 2025 work plan.
