From Jan 13 to 19, a total of 25 junior and senior students from 23 colleges of Yunnan University (YNU) embarked on an enriching seven-day study tour in Hong Kong and Macao.
The program, supported by the Zhejiang Tailong Charity Foundation and organized by Yunnan University's Student Career Guidance Service Center, Education Foundation, and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Office, aimed to broaden students' global perspectives and enhance their employability and entrepreneurial skills.

The study tour featured academic courses at the University of Hong Kong and the University of Macao, corporate and entrepreneurial institution visits, and alumni networking sessions.
In Hong Kong, students participated in lectures on critical thinking, decision-making for leaders, and public speaking skills, gaining valuable insights into how to be an effective leader. A visit to Prudential Hong Kong provided an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry, career planning, and how best to introduce oneself.
In Macao, they explored topics like big data-driven innovation and cross-cultural communication. Ge Shuai, an accomplished alumnus of Yunnan University and a successful entrepreneur in Macao at present, offered students practical career advice. The program culminated in an academic presentation, where students demonstrated what they learned through English presentations, receiving valuable feedback from Macao professors.
