A total of 75 members of the choir will participate in cultural exchange activities from July 15 to 28 across Beijing, capital of China, and the cities of Kunming and Chuxiong in Yunnan. This year's camp features an innovative "singing to learn Chinese" model, where participants learn classic Yunnan folk songs such as "Stay, Guest from Afar", using music as a bridge to appreciate the beauty of the Chinese language and promote traditional Chinese culture globally.

The choir is a non-profit art group that engages students of different ages and backgrounds from across Germany in learning Chinese through music. Dedicated to fostering China-Europe and China-Germany cultural exchanges, the choir has taken part in several high-profile bilateral diplomatic events. Later this year, it will perform at the "50th Anniversary of China-Europe Diplomatic Ties" youth concert and China visit showcase on Oct 4 at the Essen Philharmonic Hall.

The summer camp is hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of China and organized by Yunnan University.
