The conference featured 11 parallel sessions and one youth forum, with 80 experts and young scholars from 43 universities and research institutes, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, and the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. They shared cutting-edge research on metabolism, physiology, reproduction, embryonic development, disease models, and non-drosophila entomology.

In total, 103 abstracts were submitted and compiled into a collection. More than 60 faculty and students from 29 universities, including Fudan University, also presented their research through poster sessions.

The conference highlighted the latest scientific advances in drosophila biology, explored the role of drosophila models in China's research landscape, and created new opportunities for academic collaboration, bolstering the field's contributions to national scientific strategies.
