Yunnan University Thailand Alumni Association established in Bangkok

The Yunnan University Thailand Alumni Association was recently established in Bangkok.

The ceremony was attended by officials from Thailand's Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Li Hui, director of the Yunnan Provincial Commercial Representative Office in Thailand (Bangkok), representatives of the Thai Chinese Football Association, the Yunnan University Alumni Association, the newly established Thailand Alumni Association, and local alumni.

In their remarks, cadres of the Yunnan University Alumni Association and the Yunnan University Thailand Alumni Association introduced Yunnan University's history, recent achievements, and progress in the development of an alumni network. They also presented details on the preparation of the Thailand Alumni Association, the proposed first council members, and the association's constitution.

They expressed hope that the Yunnan University Thailand Alumni Association will serve as an emotional bond, strengthening ties between alumni and their alma mater; as a platform for development, fostering mutual support and shared growth among members; and as a bridge of friendship, promoting people-to-people exchanges between China and Thailand while contributing to the development of both countries.

Attending alumni shared cherished memories of their studies and campus life at Yunnan University and offered valuable suggestions for the university's future growth and development.
