Yunnan University, Botanee Group sign cooperation agreement

Yunnan University and Yunnan Botanee Bio-Technology Group signed a framework cooperation agreement in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan province, on Sept 30.

The signing ceremony was attended by Guo Zhenyu, chairman and president of Botanee Group, Wang Feifei, vice president of R&D Department of Botanee, Ma Wenhui, president of Yunnan University and Chen Keqing, vice president of the university, along with representatives from relevant departments and faculties of both sides.

Under the agreement, both parties will leverage their respective strengths to carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as building high-level collaboration in areas, including building advanced innovation platforms, cultivating high-quality industrial talent, addressing key technological challenges, promoting research achievement transformation, as well as exploring paths for international development.

The partnership aims to develop an integrated "industry-academia-research-application" innovation model to support Yunnan's bio-pharmaceutical and health industries. Together, Yunnan University and Botanee Group will work to establish a high-quality development framework driven by industry leadership, sustainable innovation, and robust growth momentum.
