The 24th Foreign Language Drama Festival of Yunnan University concluded on April 24 at the university's student auditorium.
Hosted by the School of Foreign Languages, this year's festival featured a series of original multilingual plays inspired by traditional Chinese culture and contemporary stories of perseverance, including "The Evidence in the Negative", "Answer from the Galaxy" and "Echo of the Shadow".

Ahead of the performances, the festival attracted hundreds of students and teachers through drama appreciation sessions, mini-theater selections and immersive multilingual cultural activities. The closing event also included multilingual song performances and the Chinese modern dance piece "Fisherman's Ballad", creating a vibrant cultural experience blending artistic expression with cultural exchange.
Founded in 2002, the drama festival has become one of Yunnan University's longest-running and most influential campus cultural events. Using language and theater as bridges, it encourages students to tell China's stories and promote Chinese culture through foreign languages.
