China's Ministry of Education announced the approval results for Sino-foreign cooperative education programs for 2026 on May 25. A joint undergraduate program in Tourism Management established by Yunnan University (YNU) and Cesar Ritz Colleges Switzerland was among the list of approvals.
The program will introduce high-quality educational resources from Cesar Ritz Colleges Switzerland while leveraging YNU's strengths in tourism management and the needs of the local tourism industry. Together, the two institutions aim to build a high-standard, internationally oriented talent-training system.
Drawing on an established educational model, experienced faculty, and a global internship and employment network, the program will cultivate tourism professionals with an international outlook, strong professional skills, cross-cultural communication abilities, and innovative thinking.
Students will complete their studies entirely at YNU. Those who meet the graduation and degree requirements of both institutions will receive a bachelor's degree in management from the prestigious Chinese school, along with a Bachelor of Science degree awarded by Cesar Ritz Colleges Switzerland.
