Yunnan University shines at provincial games

Yunnan University showcased remarkable talent at the 17th Yunnan Provincial Games, which concluded on July 6, earning an array of medals.

The tennis team claimed a silver medal in the men's team event of Division A, along with multiple individual and doubles awards. They also placed fifth in both the women's team and women's doubles events of Division C.

The martial arts team secured four gold medals, three silver medals, and four bronze medals, meanwhile, the football team earned three silver medals and one bronze medal.

The sports dance team won one gold medal, one silver medal, and two bronze medals, ranking third in the group total score, while the rope skipping team gained two gold medals and one bronze medal, and received the "Sports Ethics Award".

The basketball team bagged one gold medal, one silver medal, and one bronze medal.

The university will further enrich its sports culture by improving training mechanisms and promoting the high-quality development of sports.
