The camp took learning beyond the classroom and into night markets, businesses, startup parks, and local villages, allowing students to explore industries and business opportunities through firsthand experience.
The students visited Gaozhuang Xishuangjing tourist area and the Mekong River Starry Night Market to observe how the nighttime economy operates. They also visited intangible cultural heritage workshops, agricultural companies, and a youth entrepreneurship park to learn about cultural and creative products, specialty agriculture, and rural tourism. In local villages, they spoke with farmers and rural entrepreneurs about turning local resources into businesses and creating new sources of income.
The camp also offered sessions on cross-border entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and legal risk prevention, with experts and entrepreneurship mentors sharing practical experience. Students worked in teams to develop e-commerce promotion plans and pitched projects focused on starting businesses in Yunnan, covering areas such as coffee, tourism, and ethnic culture.
Through classroom learning, field visits, and hands-on exercises, the camp helped students strengthen their skills in business analysis, project planning, and digital entrepreneurship while giving them a closer look at Yunnan's industries and cross-border opportunities.
