YNU online session for intl students to be held

To deliver admissions information and scholarship programs to international students in a prompt and accurate manner, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of Yunnan University (YNU), located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province will hold a brief online information session for international students on March 2 from 15:00 to 16:00 (Beijing time).

All international students and parents of students from all over the world are welcome to attend the session.  

Yunnan University was listed among the first group of national Project 211 in 1996 and was listed among the first tranch of 42 universities tasked with establishing world-class universities and first-class disciplines in 2017. 

A second list of first-class universities and disciplines was announced on Feb 9, and ethnology and ecology courses at YNU were selected.

The university currently has 16,816 full-time undergraduate students, 8,159 master's degree students, 1,215 PhD students and 1,545 international students. It has 79 undergraduate majors, 12 State-level featured majors, two State-level professional comprehensive pilot reform programs, 10 State-level quality courses, and three State-level publicly-available quality courses.
