YNU welcomes Macao's educational envoys for symposium

A delegation of 21 members from Macao visited the Donglu Campus of Yunnan University (YNU) on May 15.

The delegation was composed of student affairs representatives from six Macao universities, including the University of Macao, City University of Macao, Macao Polytechnic University, Macao University of Science and Technology, University of Saint Joseph, and Macao Institute for Tourism Studies.

Yunnan University hosted a symposium in honor of their visit.

During the symposium, the delegation gained comprehensive insights into the recent developments at Yunnan University and its collaborative efforts with Macao universities. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions about the distinctive features, experiences, and practices of their respective institutions in student affairs.

The tour was aimed at enhancing mutual understanding between universities in Yunnan and Macao, paving the way for future friendly exchanges and collaborations to forge a new chapter in Yunnan-Macao educational cooperation.

Additionally, prior to the symposium, the Macao delegation inspected the university's green and beautiful campus initiatives and toured the Yunnan University History Museum to learn about its century-long educational heritage.
